A letter to two of my favorites
Dear Lexi and Joey:
Hello my loves! I hope this day is treating you wonderful even though the weather sucks. Anyhow let me just get straight to the point. Im sure you are wondering why Im writing the two of you well here it goes....Im concerned with your lack of intrest in house work!! I see you have many other intrest such as keeping your noses glued to the TV. You two wouldnt even know if the house caught on fire when yall are watching TV. You two leave your clothes all over the house and when I say ALL Im not exagerrating. I just dont understand how you can take it off so easily but yet you cant seem to get it into the laundry basket you'd rather it stay in the middle of the floor until I come around to pick it up. Its also not hard to pick up your plate and empty it and stick it in the sink. Im starting to see a pattern....(maybe I live with two children as opposed to one..hmmm) the two of you are so much more alike than you realize. Lexi its fine that you love to paint honey I love to paint too, but when you leave it all over the kicthen table and walk off and head for you new journey and leave a mess there as well this is not good my child. Also cleaning your room does NOT consists of throwing everything under the bed and in the closet. I just thought Id bring that to your attention babygirl :) Joey please try to be better about the trash. The trash isnt going to take itself out although sometimes I wish it could because honey you take to long to get it outside and half the time I end up taking it out and I believe this should be a mans job.
I just want the two of you to know that if Mommy had a little more help around the house she may not be so tired after getting off of work and coming home and cleaning everyone elses messes by herself. If the two of you would help out a little bit more we may be able to go the park or spend some alone time together or lay in bed and talk for awhile but Mommy is wore out by bedtime she just wants to go to sleep. We could do so much more things together. Im simply just asking for you guys to help just a little that isnt to much to ask. I promise it will benefit us ALL if we ALL help around the house and it would reeeaaallllly benefit you in your favor Joe. :) But instead everyone goes on about there business and lets Mommy worry about it all. Thats okay I still love you both more than all the stars in the whole world.
With All My Love
Momma

I hear ya! Have you ever heard the old adage of "cleaning your house before your children are done growing, is like shoveling the snow, before it stops snowing"? That is my mantra. My husband and I used to have stand offs to see who would do the dishes first, and then I realized that he's a gross boy, and could hold out a LOT longer than I could! Welcome to blogging!
LOL love your cousins note about the link up! Thanks for joining in!!
Uh, can I just copy this post and give it to my husband and kids?? Seriously, this post rocks! No one seems to understand the reason I'm so tired all the time is because no one helps clean up!! Doesn't it feel like Groundhog Day all the time? I feel like I clean the same messes day in and day out!
And I totally love what you said about the house burning down while the tv is on...same thing here. When my husband is glued to the tv, I'll say things like "The kitchen's on fire", "I'm pregnant with triplets", "I'm having an affair with the UPS guy"....he doesn't even HEAR a word I say.
Welcome to the world of blogging!!! And thank you for the follow! I'm following you too!
